FALL SEMESTER 2025
This fall, we're excited to invite your children on an artistic adventure with "Exploring Shapes and Forms Across Time and Mediums." Each class will spotlight a different artist, offering a rich tapestry of inspiration. Children will delve into the whimsical world of Joan Miró and explore the intriguing concepts of positive and negative space inspired by Eduardo Chillida. They'll paint with scissors like Henri Matisse, crafting vibrant paper collages and experimenting with gelli printing and stencils. Inspired by Ben Nicholson's techniques, they'll create cardboard reliefs and still life compositions. The journey continues with paper weaving inspired by Anni Albers, dynamic 3D paper sculptures drawing from Lygia Clark and Alexander Calder, and creating wire drawings in the style of Pablo Picasso. Finally, they'll craft self-portraits inspired by the opulent style of Gustav Klimt.
Through these hands-on projects, children will not only learn about Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism, Cubism, and Modernism but also create their own artworks.
Note: We're offering a 15% sibling discount for families enrolling more than one child in our art classes. Use code SIBLING15OFF at enrollment.
